Ukrainian Aid Benefit Show for Ukrainian War Refugees & Aid

05/25/22 | Doors 6 PM CDT, Show 7 PM CDT | Tipitina's | 501 Napoleon Ave

Featuring Honey Island Swamp Band, Meschiya Lake & The Little Big Horns, Muevelo, & Leyla McCalla!

10pm-till Honey Island Swamp Band
 
Previously raised funds were spent on 400 IFAK medic kits, shipping 19 pallets of medical aid, support a hospice evacuation in Donbass, help IDPs in Zaporozhie, enable insulin and food distribution in Kherson and Kharkiv, buy several ambulance vehicles, contribute to evacuation of women with children, and support numerous Ukrainian organizations on the ground.
This time proceeds from this event will benefit KRYLA and a Ukrainian based non profit Community Self Help.
 
 

Tulane University Concert Band Spring Concert

04/29/22 | 7:00 - 9:00 PM CDT | Dixon Hall, Tulane University

Kryla will have a donations table, along with some merch available for sale. Proceeds will go towards our projects. The Tulane University Concert Band will present their Spring Concert under the direction of Barry Spanier. Organized by Newcomb Department of Music.

Other Organizations aiding Ukraine

Razom

Razom was founded in 2014 to support Maidan protesters in Ukraine. In the past few months, Razom has been fundraising to support humanitarian efforts through Razom Emergency Response. They’re delivering medical items, hospital supplies and tech-enabled emergency response supplies to Ukraine.

Proliska 

Proliska is working to support civilians trapped in Ukraine’s war zone. They provide both humanitarian assistance and psychological support to those affected by the invasion of Ukraine.
